What is underground mining jumbo ?

A underground drilling jumbo is a mechanical device that integrates a rock drill, an automatic propeller, a drill arm and its amplitude modulation mechanism, a drill frame, a traveling mechanism, etc. It can support the rock drill to drill holes in the rock, and travel with the help of various power sources. It is suitable for a variety of working environments such as mining, open-pit operations, tunneling, anchor installation, underwater operations, and general drilling. According to the different traveling devices, rock drilling rigs can be divided into crawler, tire, and rail-wheel types, which are further subdivided into self-propelled and towed types. In addition, according to the number of working arms, rock drilling rigs can also be divided into single-machine hydraulic, double-machine hydraulic, and multi-machine hydraulic types. This equipment is widely used in mining, tunnel excavation, geological exploration, tunnel excavation, quarrying, hydropower, railways, ports, bases, national defense projects, and even in scenes such as controlled blasting for demolishing old buildings in cities.

Usability failure refers to the failure caused by unfamiliarity with the working principle of the equipment during use, improper use, and the equipment often working with problems, which makes the equipment lose many necessary safety protection measures for a long time, and the intelligent control function is not perfect. After the failure occurs, the equipment is greatly damaged. Common usability failures are:
1 Failure caused by water circuitIf the water source such as the reservoir is not clean, the water filter in the machine will be blocked and damaged. If it is not checked and replaced in time, sand and gravel will enter and cause the booster pump blades to break or accelerate wear. In this way, the working water pressure drops, the water control air valve cannot be opened, and the air circuit control part of the whole vehicle cannot work. If you want to continue working, you must change the air circuit and unplug the N8 air pipe so that the air circuit is not controlled by water pressure and the trolley works at low water pressure. Since the water control air valve does not work, the drilling cannot be stopped when the water is cut off, and the drill bit will inevitably get stuck, the rotating motor will be blocked, and the oil pressure will rise sharply. At this time, if the anti-stuck drill valve does not work again, the pressure cannot be relieved and the oil will return. The drill rod and drill bit will get stuck, the hydraulic oil pipe will rupture, and the system will leak oil or the oil temperature will rise. In the water circuit, poor circulation of the hydraulic oil radiator can also cause high oil temperature.
2 Faults caused by damaged pressure gaugesThe nine-way pressure gauges monitor the anti-stuck pressure, positioning pressure, and thrust return pressure of the three arms respectively. The three impact pressure gauges can monitor the impact pressure of the three arms. If these pressure gauges are not replaced in time after being damaged, the following problems will occur: (1) Due to wear of hydraulic components, pressure oil leaks, causing the hydraulic system to lose control and fail to work normally; (2) Or blindly increasing the pressure for work will often cause oil pipe bursts and oil leaks. It was found on site that the thrust pressure of the three arms was 1.2-1.5 times the normal pressure; the thrust return pressure of the three arms was 2-2.5 times the normal pressure; the impact pressure of the three arms was also high; the anti-stuck pressure failed to work in coordination, did not return when the initial stuck, and often burst pipes and leaked oil. These are all faults caused by increasing the pressure after the pressure gauge was damaged and barely working. At the same time, this is also one of the reasons for excessive consumption of drill bits and drill rods.
3 Faults in the oil return systemThe oil return filter plays a role in filtering impurities and dissipating heat in the oil return system. The working condition of the return oil filter is transmitted to the alarm circuit of the power distribution cabinet through the sensor. When the return oil warning light is on, it prompts to replace the return oil filter. If the sensor is damaged and not replaced in time, the working condition of the return oil filter will deteriorate. First, the blockage causes the return oil pressure to increase and the heat dissipation to be poor. If the return oil filter is not replaced, it will cause the hydraulic components to wear and leak, and the hydraulic pipeline will burst.
4 Faults caused by circuitsThe rock drilling rig uses high voltage power supply and low voltage control. If the circuit fails, it will lose balance if it is forced to work. The heating of electrical components will indirectly affect the hydraulic oil temperature. If the charger is damaged and not repaired, it will cause the control transformer to heat up, and if the pulse generator is damaged, the lubricating oil will not work, wear the rock drill, and cause oil leakage and temperature rise.
